Henry IV

What does it take to be a good person? In the play, Hal represents a truly good person. He displays attributes that show he truly cares about other people and how he can help them. By sparing Douglas' life Hal demostarates not only honor but that he is a good person. I that if you can change yourself and impove yourself, you are on your way to becoming a good person. Hal represents a good person because he changes himself for the better and helps other people do the same.

What does it take to be a "good" person? At the end of the story, Oedipus accepts the mistakes he's made, but does that acctually make him a good person? I don't think Oedipus was a good person at the beginning of the story, for one he killed, and he was very arrogant towards Kreon and Teiresius. I don't feel that Oedipus' owning up to his mistakes actually makes up for what he did
